Below are answers to common questions about purchasing and using Topline Software.

Who can buy it.

Topline Software Products are available to customers of NTPSTAG/Keystone with an active account number.  If you are interested in Topiine and don't currently have a NTPSTAG/Keystone account, we can direct you to a new account application form.  Topline has been customized and priced to assist NTPSTAG & Keystone Automotive customers.  It is fine if you also purchase from other distributors.

Is it on the cloud or do I install it on my PC

With Topline, you can choose between a local server or cloud hosting.

Do you have a copy I can play with?

We have created Interactive Demos that let you drive a simulated version of program modules.  Using this method, we can insure that there is sufficient content and instructions to create a postive experience.  To actually try out a product like Topline, you will need sample customers, parts and ticket senarious to practice with.  We will keep adding in new Interactive Demos to cover more specific user level tasks and challenges.

How much does it cost?

Topline programs are tailored toward each customer. We will be happy to get a quote to you after understanding more about what you need. We definitely do not nickel and dime you for each user or feature. Topline is here to support NTPSTAG/Keystone customers and we want to be sure you have the correct program to grow and better manage your business.

Do you come to our place to train our staff?

Although this would seem to be the best way to train people, our experience has shown us otherwise.  First, there is a significant cost to flying trainers to customer locations, putting them up in hotels, renting cars etc.  This would have to be added to the cost of the programs and we are trying to keep them as affordable as possible.  The other issue is, that no matter how committed a new customer is, it is practically impossible to get everyone to be free of distractions (customers, phone, questions) for any period of time.  And we are very glad that you are all so busy!  By blocking out 1 hour intervals for customized web based training, we found that this can be much more successful.  We also provide printed Quick Start documents, Interactive Trainings and Demonstration  videos.  All of these things can be used to practice your new skills in between classes.  We will do our best to accomodate your scheudule to work, with you when you have the least distractions.

Can we bring over our customer information and work order history?

Our technical team has years of experience in importing data from other programs.  We can't promise exactly what can be brought over in your particular situation, but we can look at what you have and advise you before you make a purchase.  Usually customer information, basic invoice totals (without specific line item details) &  parts inventory can be brought over.  When it comes to parts inventory, this will also depend on how much information was originally entered.

How long does it usually take to get up and running?

This will depend on how farmiliar you and your team are with shop software packages.  Topline is similar enough to  other shop programs, that you will really just need to learn where everyting is in the new program.  This could take a few weeks to get working and then keep learning more skills.  If you have never used a software program to manage your shop or store, then it may take longer.  Probably a few months from gettting the program set up to you feeling like you are ready to Go Live and dive in with a real customer and start creating tickets.

How do I get help if I need it after the sale?

We have a tech team that can be reached by phone during regular business hours, Monday through Friday.  We have the phones monitored over the weekend in case an urgent issue comes up after hours.  An active support agreement must be in place to our support services.
